Las Vegas Gun Show: Industry "hot" in winter
On January 21, 2025, the Convention and Exhibition Center in Las Vegas ushered in the annual gun exhibition feast. As an exhibitor of Derong (Guangzhou) Outdoor Products Co., Ltd., I entered this world full of opportunities and challenges with anticipation and tension.
On the first day of the launch, the exhibition center was filled with people, and industry practitioners and enthusiasts from all over the world shuttled between the booths. Our booth is simple but professional. The logo of "De Rong (Guangzhou) Outdoor Co., Limited" is particularly eye-catching on the white tablecloth. Various products are displayed in an orderly manner. The display board behind it shows the company's information and strength in detail. At the beginning, I was a little embarrassed. Facing a steady stream of visitors, I tried to introduce the products in fluent English. From the characteristics of outdoor products such as gas tanks and fuel bottles to the company's advantages in production process and quality control, every explanation was an attempt to establish a connection with potential customers.
On January 22, the exhibition reached its climax. A distributor from the United States stopped in front of our booth for a long time. He repeatedly looked at the product and asked about the details, from material to production capacity, from transportation to after-sales service. I answered patiently and provided company qualification documents and past cooperation cases to support it. When he showed a satisfied expression and expressed his intention to cooperate, the sense of accomplishment was indescribable. This was not only a possibility of a business, but also a recognition of the company's products and my efforts. During this period, I also encountered communication with peers. Everyone shared industry trends and discussed fluctuations in raw material prices and changes in market demand. During the communication and collision, my understanding of the industry has become deeper.
January 23, although it was approaching its end, its enthusiasm has not diminished. There are purchasing staff from outdoor clubs coming, and they need reliable supplies for outdoor activities, and our products just meet the needs. After some communication, a preliminary procurement intention was reached and an agreement was made to negotiate in depth in the future. On this day, I was not idle either. I sorted out the visitor information, reviewed the exchange, and thought about how to optimize the follow-up promotion.
On January 24, the exhibition ended. Looking back on these four days, from the initial trepidation to the calmness of the later, from strange visitors to customers with clear intentions, we have gained a lot. Those moments of communication and the dawn of cooperation have become the most precious memories of this trip to the Las Vegas gun show. It is not only a platform for product display, but also a stage for industry connections and self-growth. With these gains, I look forward to working with customers in the future to make the company's products shine in a broader market. I also hope that the next exhibition can continue to write more exciting stories.
